Sears Canada appoints Ronald Boire as President and CEO

Sears Canada has roped in Ronald Boire as the new President and CEO, a position that he held on an interim basis since he was moved in last October by the company’s US parent. He stepped in after Douglas Campell announced in September that he would leave for personal reasons. Boire had previously been Chief Merchandising Officer and President of the Sears and Kmart stores in the United States. Sears Canada Inc. is a retailer, headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, and employs about 33,000 people.
