Sabyasachi launches fashion pop-up in Los Angeles

Designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee has launched an exclusive collection titled ‘Cinématique: the red-carpet collection’ at the recently opened Los Angeles department store Saks Fifth Avenue. The Sabyasachi showcase began with a dinner party and runs until March 16.

“Sabyasachi Mukherjee is a visionary who has mesmerised the world with his unique and exquisite designs,” said Saks Fifth Avenue’s fashion director Roopal Patel, the brand shared in a Facebook post.

Celebrity attendees at Saks Fifth Avenue’s dinner party to commemorate the collection’s launch included Roopal Patel, Kathy Hilton, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas in addition to the collection’s namesake designer.

The Sabyasachi exhibit at Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, combines ready-to-wear, accessories, jewellery, and couture pieces. The Cinématique showcase, which aims to provide Los Angeles locals with an insight into Sabyasachi’s luxurious world, is complemented by a number of advertising photos that dress Sabyasachi’s creations on traditional American beauty, symbolising the brand’s growing emphasis on the US market.
