Richemont, the well-known fashion label from Switzerland, has witnessed a decent jump of 6 per cent in revenue in its third quarter though there was a slump in the net profit.
The revenue, strikingly, touched 4,156 million euros with growth in all regions excluding Japan.
Japan saw brand’s sales go down by 7 per cent mainly due to lower tourist spending given a comparatively stronger Japanese yen.
Europe too proved to be a winner for Richemont with the sales clocking 1,263 million euros at an increase of 9 per cent.
The fashion house also said that its sales in Asia Pacific rose by 2 per cent to touch 1,429 million euros during the third quarter. The rise, reportedly, has been attributed to strong double digit sales growth in China and Korea.
An impressive performance in US market also helped Richemont’s sales rise by 5 per cent (874 million euros) in Americas.
