Raymond Ltd has created an aggressive growth plan for its businesses. At its Lifestyle leadership meet, the company decided that there should be a re-look at the organisational structure to create more bandwidth for the leaders to play to their potential.
In line with these objectives, the company has made a few changes to the leadership. Debdeep Sinha (Chief Business Officer – Apparel) will be transitioning to the role of Chief Business Officer- Innerwear & Sleepwear (IW & Sleepz). The company is confident that Debdeep’s expertise in setting up new businesses will augur well for their IW & Sleepz businesses.
Secondly, the company welcomes Neeraj Nagpal, who joins as Chief Business Officer – Apparel, MTM and TRS. With more than 27 years of experience in the fashion and retail industries, Neeraj is a seasoned professional with a track record of fostering steady, profitable growth. He comes to Raymond from Bazaar Retail Private Ltd. in Kolkata, where he was the CEO and in charge of promoting innovation, expanding the company, and strengthening the brand. He had previously worked for Madura Fashion & Lifestyle, ITC Ltd., Ashima Ltd. (Attires), Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited (ABFRL)-Pantaloon, and K Raheja Group-Shoppers Stop.
Neeraj will report to the Managing Director, Raymond Lifestyle Limited. The Apparel leadership team along with Heads of Retail and MTM will now report to Neeraj.
