As it moves forward with its US development, value fashion and lifestyle retailer Primark has inaugurated its 450th location in Orlando, Florida.
Following the launch of Primark’s first-ever national brand awareness campaign, the retailer’s 26th US location has opened its doors in Orlando, Florida, close to the Walt Disney Resort.
The store debuted in conjunction with the retailer’s 55th anniversary and comes after Primark established its 64th location in Spain, bringing the total number of locations in Madrid to 12.
Commenting on the milestone, Paul Marchant, chief executive of Primark, said in a statement, “What an exciting time for Primark, on one side of the Atlantic we’ve opened our 26th US store in Orlando Florida, which is our 450th globally, while on the other we’re celebrating 55 years of Penneys in Ireland.
The Florida Mall is home to the 36,200-square-foot Orlando store, which is spread over two levels. With a whole level devoted to Disney and Marvel accessories and collections, the store has the biggest Disney inventory of any Primark location.
The retailer’s first Michigan location, at Great Lakes Crossing Outlets in Auburn Hills, will debut in September, after its Florida location.
