Primark, the budget retailer, has announced that it will reduce the pricing of ‘hundreds’ of important kidswear items for its upcoming autumn/winter range. The modifications will be implemented to a few product lines that will be available in stores by the end of July.
According to a press release, Primark made the choice due to the continuous high levels of inflation in the UK, and the company stated that it was ‘continuing to stand by its consumers and its price leadership’ as a result.
It expands on Primark’s decision to institute a price freeze on kidswear and infant items last year, with T-shirts, leggings, and sweatshirts now seeing price reductions.
In a release, CEO Paul Marchent, said: “For millions of people household finances continue to be stretched and we know that great value has never been more important for our customers.”
