Primark, the Irish fast fashion retailer, has announced that it will open its new Hastings store on 6 March 2019.

The two-floor outlet, located in Priory Meadow Shopping Centre, East Sussex, England, will occupy a retail space of 30,000 square feet. The store was initially supposed to open in summer 2018, however the brand is coming up now as it is confirmed that Topman and Topshop exit Priory Meadow in April 2019 and River Island does the same in May.

Expressing happiness over Primark’s decision to open the new store, Allan Lockhart, Chief Executive, NewRiver, said “We are very delighted that Primark, a pioneer among fast fashion brands, will be opening its doors at our shopping centre in Hastings.”

The decision also provides an excellent opportunity to enhance the presence of the shopping centre and the town in the world.

It is worth noting that in January, Primark had announced that it will open a new store in Poland in its bid to expand to Eastern Europe.
