
Roy Bagattini will be quitting as the President of Levi Strauss & Co. after having served the firm for over 6.5 years.
He will be officially leaving his post on 16 February 2020.
As per media reports, Roy will joining Woolworths, a supermarket chain, as its Chief Executive Offcer (CEO). The current CEO of Woolworths Ian Moir will be leaving the firm in February.
Commenting about Roy’s exit, Chip Bergh, President and CEO, Levi Strauss & Co., said “Roy has been a vital member of the team that led Levi Strauss & Co.’s turnaround. He is a respected leader whose insights and perspectives helped to shape our winning strategy.”
Chip added “I am grateful for Roy’s contributions to the strong foundation now in place at Levi Strauss & Co., and I know that he will be a high-impact CEO in his next role.”
Marc Rosen, presently executive vice president and president of direct-to-consumer at Levi Strauss & Co., will replace Roy.
