Prada, the Italian luxury fashion brand, launched its new store in the city of Chongqing in China. The outlet, spread over an area of 600 square metres, is located at the popular MixC shopping mall.
The store houses some of the best collections of menswear and womenswear with products ranging from ready-to-wear apparels and leather items to footwear and accessories of impeccable quality.
The imposing spiral metal blades in gold and silver blades set against black Marquinia marble and large windows to maximise natural light brighten the design elegance of the new store.
Inspired by the historic Prada outlet in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan, the interior has exquisite chequered floor of black and white marble as well as elegant doorways and display surfaces in green Aver marble.
The velvet seating in the newly opened store is a fitting tribute to Milan’s design masters of 1950s such as Osvaldo Borsani and Giò Ponti, making the environment elegant and refined.
