
Vince Holding Corp., the US-based fashion group, has seen its Q1 revenue surge by 36.2 per cent to clock US $ 78.4 million.
The same was US $ 57.5 million in the Q1 of the previous year.
Brand-wise, Vince saw its sales grow by 34.5 per cent, while Rebecca Taylor and Parker witnessed combined sales rise of 48.9 per cent.
Inline with this sales rise, the firm narrowed down its net loss to US $ 7.2 million from US $ 11.6 million reported in the same quarter a year earlier.
Corroborating on the growth, Jack Schwefel, CEO, Vince Holdings, said that the good numbers in the quarter were aided by an increase in store traffic.
Jack added that as product continues to resonate with customers each quarter, the company will continue to leverage its strong brand equity and deep customer connections so as to drive long-term profitable growth.
The quarter also saw the firm end with 86 company-operated Vince and Rebecca Taylor stores, which is a net increase of 14 stores since last year.
Vince Holding Corp. is a global contemporary group, which comprises three brands, namely Vince, Rebecca Taylor and Parker. It was established in 2002 and is known for apparels and footwear, amongst others.
