Numero Uno, India’s leading clothing and accessories brand, has announced to invest Rs. 10 crores to increase its store count in the country.
The apparel retailer is planning to open 36 new stores in the next three years in the southern and western markets of India. These upcoming stores will have an average size of 600 square feet.
Numero Uno currently operates 180 stores in the northern region of the country.
Established in 1987, the indigenously manufactured denim label offers a range of products including shirts, T-shirts and footwear, among others.
The brand expects to note a revenue growth of 15-20 per cent post-expansion.
“We have decided to add 12 stores per year for the next three years majorly in southern and western regions as our presence in these markets is very less,” reportedly said Narinder Singh Dhingra, CMD Numero Uno Clothing Ltd.
“We will also work on expansion in east India in view of the huge potential there,” he added.
The Indian fashion brand is also looking to export its products from next year onward.
Further, Numero Uno recently forayed into the activewear segment with the launch of its ‘N1 ACTIVE’ collection. The range, designed for active men and women, includes T-shirts, polos, sweatshirts, jackets, joggers and jeggings.
Earlier this year, the brand also launched a ‘Zero Gravity’ jeans collection to woo millennials.
