Woes continue for British online fashion label Boohoo!
Renowned fashion brand Next has removed Boohoo products from its website after the recent allegations of workers being denied rights at a factory in Leicester that supplies for Boohoo.
Immediately after Next pulled out Boohoo products, Asos and Zalando also did the same yesterday evening (Tuesday). Meanwhile, Asos refused to comment anything further.
The aforementioned retailers have temporarily halted the sale of any of Boohoo’s brands that also include PrettyLittleThing and Nasty Gal.
The Very Group too has said that it too will temporarily suspend all Boohoo products till investigation results are out.
Late last week, several garment workers of Leicester factory that supplies for Boohoo alleged of being deprived basic safety rights like masks and sanitisers. In another report, workers claimed of being paid as less as £3.50, which attracted world attention.

Boohoo in a statement said that it will not think twice before terminating relationship with any of its suppliers if they are found to be flouting any code of conduct.
Talking about terminating relationships, German fashion label Zalando said that it has decided to delist all of Boohoo products and has halted all its business with Boohoo starting yesterday (7 July).
While confirming that Zalando has been implementing strict preventive measures for all its employees so as to keep them safe, it will keep itself away from all its partners who don’t ensure the safety of workers.
