Amanda James is to retire as Next’s Chief Financial Officer next year after 28 years with the company.
Following the retailer’s interim results on 26th September 2024, she plans to quit the group. She will resign from the board on 26th July 2024.
Jonathan Blanchard, who serves as CFO at Reiss, a company that Next owns in majority, will start working for the parent company in February of next year and take over as CFO in July. At that time, he will also join the board of directors.
In 2017, Blanchard became a director at Reiss. He was instrumental in the company’s negotiations and implementation of the switch to the Next Total Platform.
