NEWME, the women’s fashion e-commerce startup, has announced two major updates to its quick-fashion service, NEWME ZIP, making Bengaluru the first Indian city to receive round-the-clock delivery alongside a limited-edition fashion drop available exclusively to ZIP users.
The 60-minute delivery service, which has steadily expanded since its launch in Bengaluru, witnessed a notable increase in late-night orders in recent months. According to the company, many customers expressed the need to receive outfits before heading out the following morning — a pattern consistently observed across ZIP’s internal data and consumer feedback. In response, NEWME has extended the service to operate 24×7 within the city. Under the new model, all orders placed until 10pm will be delivered before 10am the next day.
The company said that Gen Z consumers do not shop according to fixed schedules, often browsing at midnight, making spontaneous plans and expecting fashion to meet their pace. The leadership noted that rising early-morning demand — with customers seeking outfits before college, work or events — made a 24×7 service a natural progression. NEWME has reconfigured parts of its operations to ensure the extended hours remain sustainable.
To support the broader delivery window, NEWME has overhauled its operational framework using smart batching, dynamic routing and intelligent order allocation across its dark-store network. These enhancements are designed to maintain rapid delivery speeds without significantly raising operational costs, a challenge commonly associated with quick-commerce models.
