E-commerce firm Myntra expects 50 per cent of its total sales from smaller towns and cities during ‘Big Fashion Days’ that begins this Sunday (29 September) and concludes on 4 October.
Geared up for the festive season, Myntra has added 20 new brands ahead of Big Fashion Days.
Besides, it has also increased the selection of its private labels with more than 8,000 new styles.
Further on this, Amar Nagaram, Head of Myntra and Jabong said “Myntra’s Big Fashion Days offers shoppers a one-of-a-kind opportunity to shop for fashion ahead of the festive season under one roof, with incredible deals from sellers and brands across categories. Our selection has increased by over one lakh styles from the previous edition of the sale, with a 60 per cent rise in inventory, year on year.”
He then added “Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities are expected to contribute over 50 per cent to the sale. While we are focused on providing the best experience to our customers, we are also delighted to be making our kirana network partners successful and providing them an opportunity to scale deliveries during the festive season.”
The online firm has set up 20 experience centres ahead of the sale in Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad, Gurgaon, Indore and Pune to offer a host of value-added services such as flexible pick and drop, instant returns, trial room and alteration of products. This is done in order to enhance customer experience.
The company has expanded its kirana network to over 15,000 stores in order to manage 70 per cent of the deliveries for Big Fashion Days, under the ‘Myntra Extended Network for Service Augmentation’ programme.
Myntra said that it is expecting around 2 million shoppers to shop on its platform during the sale days.
