India’s leading e-commerce fashion retailer Myntra has enhanced its portfolio of in-house brands with the launch of its exclusive plus-size label ‘Sztori’.
The Flipkart-owned fashion retailer elucidated that after identifying a wide range of opportunities in the segment, the company decided to create and develop apparel under a new label to meet the demands of the plus-size segment and make shoppers feel fashionable by offering different design choices at pocket-friendly prices, paving the way to new possibilities in the industry.
Notably, the brand will offer menswear and womenswear clothing including t-shirts, denim tops, dresses and much more, retailing in sizes ranging from L to XXXXL. More than 220 designs will be made available by the brand under a price bracket that will begin from Rs. 799 to Rs. 1999.
Manohar Kamath, CXO & Head, Myntra Fashion Brands cited, “We are extremely thrilled to announce the introduction of Sztori to its portfolio of exclusive labels. Plus size clothing is highly in demand and the brand was planning to offer something significant in the category, which will open up more avenues and possibilities for its shoppers.”
“Research estimates that this segment will account for US $ 5-6 billion in the US $ 40 billion online fashion apparel market in the country in the next couple of years, which is around 10-12 per cent of the overall market, making it an important proposition,” Manohar said.
Reportedly, Myntra at present, operates over 15 in-house labels in its repertoire with the likes of popular names such as HRX, Mast & Harbour, All about you and Moda Rapido.
