Marks & Spencer (M&S) has appointed Jon Rolls as its new commercial and operations director for fashion, home and beauty.
Rolls, who previously served as group director of planning and space at Primark and was part of its executive team, will take up his new role at M&S in the fourth quarter of FY26. He will report to John Lyttle, managing director of fashion, home and beauty.
Rolls began his career on the M&S graduate scheme and has also worked at New Look. In his new role, he will oversee the retailer’s cross-business unit commercial plan, including the Outlets business, while leading the modernisation of M&S’ systems across merchandising, forecasting and range planning.
A statement from the company said his remit would also involve strengthening collaboration between internal teams and supply partners. It added that the appointment came at a pivotal time for M&S as it continued efforts to reshape its end-to-end supply chain for fashion, home and beauty.
Lyttle said he was pleased to welcome Rolls, highlighting his experience in delivering operational change and commercial growth in fast-paced retail environments. He added that this expertise would be invaluable as M&S worked to create a more agile, customer-focused business.
