When Webretailer looked at data from many sources to determine which online retailers were doing the best job with deliveries and refunds, Motel stood out. For the finest delivery and returns policies in the UK, the retro-inspired brand received a score of 97.9 out of a possible 120.
This was due to factors including its “extremely cheap next-day delivery cost” of £ 3.99, which also contributed to its normal delivery cost of £ 2.95 and its nine out of ten delivery rating. Its £ 1 return charge received an 8.9 out of ten rating.
With a total score of 90, the Chinese behemoth SHEIN came in second. Although it came in second overall, it actually ranked first in some categories because to its delivery and return features. For instance, its £ 2 basic delivery fee earned it a perfect score of 10, and its free returns earned it additional points. A 45-day return period received a 9.6 out of 10 rating.
ASOS also does well in this survey despite facing challenges on certain fronts. With an overall ranking of 89.6, it comes in third. It received a 9.7 out of 10 rating for its “very respectable” subscription fee of £ 9.95 and was less expensive than SHEIN’s £ 23.96 and Motel’s £ 9.99. Additionally, the 12-month duration of the membership allowed it to receive a perfect score of 10, “highlighting ASOS’s dedication to ensuring customers remain loyal.”
With 86.3 points, New Look came in fourth, followed by JD Sports (85.4), Nasty Gal of the Boohoo Group (81), Next (78.2), In The Style (77.9), River Island (77.6), and Oh Polly (71.8).
