
The online retail unicorn Mensa Brands has joined forces with one of India’s leading marketplaces for licensed children’s goods, BonKids. The partnership is part of Mensa Brands’ strategy of consolidating in the theme-commerce space, which has seen rapid expansion since the start of the pandemic.
According to a LinkedIn post by Mensa Brands, BonKids is getting ready to increase its product offerings, go offline, and scale on the direct-to-consumer (D2C) platform with the help of other partners.
BonKids, founded by Niharika and Puneet Vermma was founded in 2019 and sells clothing and accessories for children aged 2 to 15, featuring licensed characters from studios like Disney (Mickey Mouse, The Jungle Book, etc.), Marvel (Loki, Thor, Deadpool, etc.), DC Comics (Superman, Batman, Aquaman, etc.), and Warner Bros. (Tom & Jerry, Scooby-Doo, Harry Porter, etc.).
