Mango, a Spanish fashion firm, has announced plans to build seven stores in the Netherlands this year.
These new stores, according to the company, will be positioned on major shopping streets in Groningen, Den Bosch, Nijmegen, and Leeuwarden, as well as in shopping malls such as Heerlen.
The company will also expand its network in locations where it currently has outlets, such as Rotterdam. Mango’s new Groningen store will be at number 48 of the Herestraat shopping district. The store will be 500m2 in size and will sell women’s and children’s clothing.
Located in Schapenmarkt, the business’s new store in Den Bosch features a 450m2 selling area with both male and female product lines.
The first Mango stores will open in Leeuwarden and Nijmegen’s major shopping areas.
The shop will renovate its main location in Lijnbaan, Rotterdam, and when it is finished, it will have a 900m2 selling area. The 570m2 store in the city just opened last month.
New Med, the company’s store concept with a Mediterranean flair, would be included in the new outlets, according to the brand.
Mango expansion and franchises director Daniel López said, “The Netherlands is a key market for Mango’s international expansion.”
