US-based upmarket sustainable women’s wear shop époque évolution has been added to the portfolio of global apparel brand Lolë for an unknown sum.
Following this transaction, both brands will carry on with separate collections and independent operations as a result of a common growth strategy and strategic alliance.
Nancy Taylor, the originator of époque évolution, will continue to hold her existing position within the business, with the added responsibility of serving as the head of Lolë’s Design and Creative Director.
Lolë CEO Todd Steele said, “We are thrilled to welcome époque évolution and its founder, Nancy Taylor, to the Lolë family.
“She brings decades of design experience, along with extensive knowledge and innovation in sustainable fashion, and we look forward to seeing how both brands evolve in this exciting new chapter.”
According to Lolë, époque évolution’s brand vision for sustainable consumption is similar to that of its own.
époque évolution and Lolë will collaborate to reduce their combined carbon footprint by choosing more environmentally friendly, organic, and recycled materials for the manufacture of clothing and other products.
The two companies’ overarching goal is to make goods in an ethical and environmentally conscientious manner.
Taylor said, “It’s all about choices: better materials, better production partners. We have proven that you can be fashionable in a way that functions in your real life and maintains environmentally sound values.
“This is an incredible opportunity to grow the brand with the help of Lolëë’s amazing team, operations and distribution network.”
Athleisure, activity and outerwear apparel collections are Lolë’s speciality. These collections are offered online and in 1,500 retail locations across the world.
époque évolution is a high-end shop with headquarters in San Francisco that sells women’s clothing that is ethically and sustainably made.
With aspirations to grow in North America and Europe, it will soon be offered in Lolë retail locations.
