Levi Strauss & Co. has appointed Chris Callieri, a former Victoria’s Secret & Co. executive, as its chief supply chain officer, a newly created role at the company. His appointment will take effect on 15th September. The position was announced in February as part of a restructuring that eliminated the chief operations officer role following the retirement of Liz O’Neill, who previously held that post.
The creation of the new role highlights the rising importance of supply chain management for global retailers, as companies continue to navigate inflationary pressures, supply constraints, and tariff-related disruptions.
Callieri will be responsible for product development, sustainability, distribution, and logistics across Levi’s global operations. He joins the company with extensive experience, having overseen supply chain operations at Victoria’s Secret as well as women’s fashion label Tory Burch. He will report directly to Levi’s Chief Executive Officer Michelle Gass and will serve on the company’s executive leadership team.
