Kottail Milano, a popular menswear brand, has announced its plan to open 40 exclusive brand outlets this year, with a particular focus on Tier-2 cities. The brand aims to expand its presence in the northern region of India, including Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan.
According to Mayank Bansal, the director of Kottail Milano, the decision to expand into Tier-2 cities is driven by the increasing demand and popularity the brand has experienced in these locations. This retail expansion is seen as a significant milestone in the brand’s goal of establishing 500 stores within the next three years. Moreover, the brand intends to diversify its product offerings by venturing into categories such as womenswear, kid wear, activewear, and footwear.
Currently, Kottail Milano specialises in men’s western-style formal and semi-formal wear, offering a wide range of blazers, shirts, trousers, and accessories. By entering the children’s wear market, the brand aims to tap into the rapidly growing product category. Additionally, by introducing womenswear, Kottail Milano seeks to provide clothing options for the entire family, attracting a broader customer base.
Kottail Milano was founded by Anil Bansal in November 2016. The brand aims to achieve a revenue target of Rs. 100 crore in the 2024 financial year, following its reported revenue of Rs. 50 crore in the 2023 financial year. The ambitious store opening plan is expected to contribute significantly to the brand’s turnover growth.
