Karl Lagerfeld, Creative Director of fashion house Chanel, Fendi as well as his own eponymous fashion label, has collaborated with Giada, a manufacturer and marketer, for the production and distribution of his new denim line.
The denim line, slated to release in Spring 2019, will boast of selvedge denim, jeans with lurex special effects and other fashionable coatings for both men and women. The assortment would also feature a slew of different cuts and styles ranging from skinny fit to boyfriend to biker fits.
Dubbed ‘Karl Lagerfeld Denim’, the line will in the beginning be targeting markets in Europe, the Middle East and Africa for the first ten seasons.
“The launch of Karl Lagerfeld Denim is an exciting, high-potential addition to our brand’s diverse product portfolio,” said Pier Paolo Righi, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Karl Lagerfeld.
Founded in 1987, Giada is an Italian manufacturer based out of Veneto. The company produces ready-to-wear (RTW) garments and accessories. It is also associated with premium denim brand Jacob Cohen since 2004 for which it has been managing the brand’s manufacturing and distribution procedures.
