Christmas has already started for British fashion retailer. And why not!
The massive customer searches for festive products on its website have been instrumental in the retailer’s decision to officially launch the store 10 days prior to last year.
By doing so, it has also raced ahead of its competitors including Selfridges. With pandemic refusing to die down and people still wary of going out, the record online searches don’t come as a surprise.
However, it’s the search for Christmas gifts, cards and other fashion products that’s made John Lewis launch the store earlier than before.
In fact the online searches, reportedly, increased by as much as 400 per cent.
While the complete range of festive products will be available on the brand’s website by this weekend, these will be available in John Lewis physical stores across the UK only by 25 September.
Known for a wide range of product categories, John Lewis generates revenue of £3.78 billion.
