
In a bid to extend its collaboration with basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal, JC Penney has released a new label, Shaquille O’Neal XLG. The new brand will be available in selected 350 stores and on the company’s online marketplace, 13th September onwards.
The upcoming brand will cater to the demands of men’s apparel and furnishings curated specifically keeping in mind, customers who are big and tall in size, just like its ambassador Shaq.
James Starke, Senior Vice President & Head of Merchandising, JCPenney said that with the launch of Shaquille O’Neal XLG, the apparel retailer continues to strengthen its unique size segment by offering the stylish, high-end clothing and accessories to their consumers at the value that they seek.
“Shaquille is a trusted and charismatic brand that connects with our major male customers, and we are excited to share his range with big & tall men, giving them another compelling reason to visit JCPenney,” he added.
Notably, the upcoming apparel brand will offer more than 60 unique styles of men’s suited separates, dress shirts, ties and belts in a range of sizes. Everything will be placed under an affordable price bracket, like, a suit will be offered at US $ 199.99, sport coat for US $ 114.99 and dress shirt at US $ 32.50. The target audience for the brand will witness suited separates and sport coats in sizes up to 64, belts up to 4XL, and extra-long ties.
Furthermore, the upcoming brand’s collection will come with many inbuilt performance features like cooling technology, stretch fabrics and flex collars that make sure the wearers comfort remains intact.
