Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd.’s premium artisanal lifestyle brand Jaypore has opened its first unique brand store in Chennai, marking its entry into Tamil Nadu.
The 2,200-square-foot boutique, which is situated in Raja Annamalai Puram, offers the city’s fashion-forward consumers a carefully chosen assortment of handcrafted clothing, ancestral jewellery, and artisanal home decor.
The store, which aims to create an immersive experience, showcases ancient artisan styles such as block printing, Chikankari, Jamdani, tribal silver, and Kundan.
Manu Gupta, Vice President and Brand Head at Jaypore, noted that Chennai’s deep-rooted appreciation for art and craftsmanship made it a fitting choice for the brand’s expansion.
Jaypore’s omnichannel footprint is growing with the opening of its Chennai store, which seamlessly combines internet and physical retail.
