Indian women’s legwear brand Go Colors has decided to expand its retail presence in the country by adding 100 offline stores in the country by the end of this year, as reported. Currently, the label operates 200 retail stores in India.
Notably, the brand also bagged Rs. 100 crore funding from ICICI Venture a few months back, this would also support it to expand its physical reach.
Founded in 2011, Go Colors also retails its products through more than 500 large-format stores. Additionally, the brand is also available on leading online marketplaces in India besides its own online store.
Gautam Saraogi, Founder and CEO of Go Colors, feels that while purchasing bottomwear customers want to touch and feel the product, so the retailer is focussing heavily on enhancing its retail expansion.
The retailer, which has started integrating online and offline stores, has put up large tabs in its stores so that customers can browse in case they do not find what they are looking for in store.
The growing fashion awareness among the Indian consumers coupled with the rising middle-class, brands are making sure that they tap the customers in every right way possible, be it in stores, online or via giving an omnichannel experience in store, to amplify their revenues. The move to expand and integrate physical and online platforms is part of Go Colors strategy to meet the needs of a modern-day consumer.
