Homegrown, bootstrapped apparel brand Bonkers Corner has announced its first international foray with its entry into the UAE market through its direct-to-consumer e-commerce platform via its website.
The company, which already has 15 stores across India and an online presence, is strategically expanding into the United Arab Emirates in response to the region’s growing demand for streetwear and its quickly changing e-commerce landscape.
The goals of Bonkers Corner’s global expansion go beyond the United Arab Emirates. In the upcoming stages, the brand intends to experiment with pop-ups, exclusive drops, and cross-border community building while expanding into several regions thanks to its robust D2C foundation.
Shubham Gupta, Founder of Bonkers Corner, emphasised the brand’s strategic interest in the UAE, calling it one of the most vibrant and diverse fashion markets in the region. He noted that online fashion sales in the country are projected to exceed US $ 6.5 billion by 2027, signaling significant growth potential. Highlighting evolving consumer preferences, he stated that there is a strong appetite for culturally fluid, comfort-driven streetwear that encourages self-expression, a space where Bonkers Corner aims to make its mark.
