
Hot Topic announced the appointment of actress Xochitl Gomez as the first chief style officer for its in-house brand Social Collision.
Gomez will bring her own style and Gen-Z flair to the Social Collision brand. To get there, she’ll work directly with Hot Topic’s product development, design, and marketing teams to curate and sell fashion drops inspired by punk music and fashion throughout the year.
Gomez’s inaugural collections, slated to appear this Spring, promise striking styles with brilliant red bursts, classic star patterns, edgy plaid and stripes, as well as statement-making chains and hardware.
