H&M, the Sweden-based fast-fashion giant will add 6 more stores in India in the next few months. The global apparel brand currently has 51 stores across 26 cities and it will be increasing that to 57 stores across 29 cities.
It will continue expansion in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities via online and offline stores as there is a lot of potential in these cities.
As per media reports, Yanira Ramirez, country sales manager, H&M India said that India is an extremely important market for H&M as the brand is growing very fast here.
Yanira said that going ahead, “We are planning to open six new stores in India this year by entering three new cities – Ranchi, Patna, and Mangalore.”
“H&M Home has been well received by Indian consumers as we are offering quality products at value-for-money pricing,” she said.
It can be mentioned here that apart from retail, India is also one of H&M Home’s largest production markets too.
