The High Court has recently given fresh time till 28 February to Bangladesh Bank Governor, Commerce Secretary and the National Board of Revenue Chairman, to submit detailed report before the court as to what actions they have taken against those e-commerce entities in the country, which have cheated their customers.
As per reports, this is the third time that the bench of Justice Md. Mostafizur Rahman and Justice M. Enayetur Rahim has extended the deadline for the implementation of its directive.
Meanwhile, the chief of the Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit under the Bangladesh Bank and Commerce Ministry’s Secretary, reportedly, submitted separate reports before the court recently, which the court termed ‘incomplete’.
