Gymshark has announced the launch of its first permanent US flagship store situated in New York City, as per reports. The flagship store’s concept will mirror its successful Regent Street flagship in London, combining retail space with areas for community events and engagement.
This New York location follows Gymshark’s first flagship opening in London in October 2022, and subsequent core and pop-up stores in the UK and Dubai. The fitness brand also has core stores planned for London, Manchester, and Amsterdam this year.
New York has become increasingly important for Gymshark’s North American operations. The brand opened its US headquarters on Greene Street in June 2024 and hosted its largest event to date, Lift:NY, in September, attracting over 7,500 fitness enthusiasts. A holiday-themed pop-up store in SoHo last November further solidified the brand’s connection to the city.
Gymshark founder and CEO, Ben Francis, reflected on the brand’s growth, recalling their first small pop-up store in New York. He expressed excitement about the upcoming flagship store, noting its significantly larger size and the opportunity to create a permanent space for the Gymshark community to train, shop, and connect.
Kim Dolder, former Abercrombie and Fitch and Under Armour executive, leads Gymshark’s North American expansion as general manager.
