LA-based high fashion clothing brand Guess has launched the advertising campaign for their Fall/Winter 2018 collection, with the entire shoot being a homage to classic Guess campaigns, in earthy, nude tones.
Shot in Joshua Tree, California, the campaign was the work of fashion photographer Josh Ryan. It portrays popular models like Amanda Cerny, Gwen Van Meir, Erin Cummins, Amanda Rodriguez, Julien Marlon and Charlie Matthews, flaunting denim and faux fur looks set against a dessert landscape highlighting the brand’s upcoming ready-to-wear collection of clothing, watch, jewelry, footwear, eyewear and handbag collections for Fall Winter collection for this year.
The womenswear collection boasts of several denim ensembles layered with even more denim garments, faux fur jackets in cherry red, old rose and dove gray, long flowing silhouette tops, and several sweatshirts and t-shirts with the Guess logo embellished on them. They also featured solid and snake-print mini dresses as occasion-wear with floral jumpsuits and a wide range of accessories like bags, belts and eye-wear complementing all the looks.
For the menswear, Guess campaign showcased embroidered denim jackets paired with distressed jeans, graphic logo tees, faux leather motos, quilted bombers, and camouflage print pants which are all a part of the offerings the Fall collection has.
The brand is eager to see how this campaign is welcomed as this is their first ad campaign since the departure of co-founder and Executive Chairman Paul Marciano who resigned due to a series of sexual harassment complaints filed against him by the junior workers including the famous accusations from model Kate Upton.
Online, this campaign is being rolled out by the brand’s website and social platforms and in print by their fashion and lifestyle magazines with images to be put up in their store and outdoor media in the coming month.
