Casablanca, the French menswear brand, has unveiled its new in-store installation at British retailer Selfridges.
The new in-store installation comprises a broad array of Casablanca’s first womenswear collection. A notable aspect of the womenswear collection is that its designs are highly inspired by sportswear for which Casablanca Paris is widely known.
The collection will feature the best of signature silk shirts, tailoring and new beautiful line of handbags. Notably, while the designs are made in Paris, the products are produced in Casablanca.
In June this year, Casablanca took to the digital stage of Paris Fashion Week to showcase its spring 2022 menswear collection. The launch of the Selfridges installation shows Casablanca’s intent to start pushing its womenswear to the frontline too.
Jeannie Lee, Selfridges, Head of Womenswear, said “We are thrilled to be able to give the brand an opportunity to present their full vision to our customers, as well as introducing the brand into our womenswear edit.
Founded in 1908, Selfridges was acquired by Weston family in 2003 for £598 million. It has its headquarters at London.
