
Unaudited financial reports for FY ’25 show that sportswear store Footasylum’s revenue increased 9.4 per cent to US $ 453.5 million.
In the year, pre-tax profit surged 188 per cent to US $ 21.9 million, operational profit jumped 123 per cent to US $ 29.7 million, and underlying EBITDA increased 26 per cent to US $ 35.9 million.
Leading brands like Nike, Adidas, and The North Face are among those that Footasylum stocks, and the company anticipates more robust performance in FY ’26.
New store openings based on the Oxford Street template in locations where Footasylum’s clientele resided drove a 3 per cent increase in retail sales to US $ 219 million. Online sales now make up 41 per cent of overall sales, up 6 per cent to US $ 183 million.
Through new and current wholesale relationships, the company’s exclusive brand saw a 101 per cent growth in sales, now making up 10 per cent of overall sales, with juniors and womenswear sales up 17 and 18 per cent, respectively.
The business doubled the size of its Metrocentre shop in Gateshead and opened additional locations in Aberdeen, Warrington, Doncaster, Rotherham, Wrexham, and Dudley as part of its ongoing efforts to increase its footprint.
