UK-based fashion retailer French Connection is seeking new buyers after some investment firms pulled out of talks to acquire the retailer.
Gordon Brothers and Spotlight Brands were the two firms that decided not to make any offer.
The British retailer has formally launched a sales process and, reportedly, stated that three suitors have shown interest in buying the retailer.
Here it is also important to mention that French Connection is still in talks with previously announced interested parties like HMJ International and Go Global Retail.

Importantly, both HMJ International and Go Global Retail can decide by this Friday (5 March) whether they would want to make a bid or not.
Though French Connection has been struggling for over a decade, it didn’t sell itself; however closure of stores and frequent lockdowns in 2020 hit its sales so significantly that the retailer finally had to take the decision.
The British clothing retailer was founded in 1972 and includes brands like Great Plains, Toast and YMC.
