Fabletics has unveiled a new strategic leadership team as the California-born activewear brand prepares to enter its next phase of growth. The company named Carly Gomez Chief Marketing Officer and expanded Meera Bhatia’s role, appointing her President and Chief Operating Officer.
Bhatia, who became part of Fabletics in early 2020, has played a key role in propelling the brand’s operational core—leading efforts across e-commerce, supply chain, and tech, while powering its expansion into new channels of distribution. Her new mandate will add responsibility for product development, retail, wholesale, and global operations—unifying brand vision with operational delivery.
Gomez, who joined as Senior Vice President of Brand Marketing in April 2024, assumes the CMO role with an emphasis on guiding brand strategy, digital innovation, and customer engagement.
Adam Goldenberg, co-founder and CEO said that Meera and Carly have both played a key role in Fabletics’ growth at a period of unprecedented expansion, and their new roles will enable them to speed their momentum as they continue to scale.
The business is poised to top US $1 billion in sales this year, with ambitious plans to grow its physical store base above 100, test new store formats, and penetrate further into international markets.
In a gesture hinting at its global ambitions, Fabletics opened Mexico last October in collaboration with Liverpool, a top local omnichannel retailer with history dating back almost two centuries.
Goldenberg underscored the company’s commitment to innovation and strategic leadership as key to maintaining its edge in a competitive landscape. With Meera and Carly helping guide the way, we’re positioned for long-term success on a global stage, he said.
