
Dick’s Sporting Goods, the largest US-based full-line omni-channel sporting goods retailer, has announced a number of leadership changes. The retailer has named Lauren Hobart as the new President with immediate effect. She will lead the company’s customer and digital efforts, marketing, e-commerce and Dick’s Team Sports HQ, and assume responsibility for the stores as well.
Hobart joined Dick’s in February 2011 as Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer and was promoted to Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer in 2015, with responsibility over Dick’s, Golf Galaxy and Field & Stream marketing. Most recently she served as Executive Vice President, Chief Customer & Digital officer. She also serves as President of The DICK’S Sporting Goods Foundation, as well as on the Board of Directors for Sonic Corp.
“I am delighted to announce Lauren’s appointment to President. In her six years with the Company, she has proven to be an invaluable and inspirational leader,” said Edward Stack, Chairman and CEO of the company.

Meanwhile, André Hawaux is set to retire from his position as Executive Vice President. He will remain with the company through the second quarter of 2017.
“André has been an instrumental member of our executive leadership team and has played a key role in executing our strategic plan,” said Stack, adding, “I am thankful to him for his dedicated service and for his continued partnership to facilitate a smooth transition.”
Keri Jones will join the company on May 22, 2017 and take up the role of Executive Vice President, Chief Merchant. In this capacity, Jones will be responsible for the strategy and execution of the company’s merchandising, product development and merchandise planning, allocation and replenishment organizations.
Also, Don Germano, who led the company’s Stores organization from 2010 through 2013, will re-join Dick’s on May 30, 2017 as Senior Vice President, Operations.
