Decathlon, a prominent sportswear and sports goods brand, has expanded its presence in Andhra Pradesh with the opening of a new store in Rajahmundry’s Prakasam Nagar, spanning 4,000 square feet. This exclusive outlet offers a diverse selection of athletic products and equipment to cater to sports enthusiasts.
Biswajit Patnaik, Managing Director of Mandate & Beyond Advisory Private Limited, expressed his delight in announcing the opening of the new Decathlon store in Rajahmundry. The latest Decathlon store introduces a buyback scheme for a wide range of products, similar to the offerings available in their other stores.
Decathlon recently launched a B2B e-commerce website in India, offering over 6,000 sportswear and sports equipment products for 60 diverse sports, streamlining distribution for its B2B partners nationwide.
Entering the Indian market in 2009 with a store in Bengaluru, Decathlon has set its sights on expanding as a multi-brand retailer, sparking discussions with the Indian government in March to obtain permission for retailing products from other brands within their physical stores across the country.
