US-based Cherokee Global Brands has announced the appointment of Steven Brink as the new Chief Financial Officer of the company, effective January 2, 2018. His appointment has come post-Jason Boling’s resignation from his post.
Boling will continue to work with the newly appointed CFO through the end of the company’s fiscal year to ensure an orderly transition in financial leadership.
Cherokee Global Brands comprises fashion and lifestyle brands like Cherokee, Cherokee Workwear, Carole Little, Liz Lange, Sideout, Magnum, 50 Peaks, Interceptor, Point Cove, Saint Tropez, Chorus Line, All That Jazz, Teen Hearts and others. Established in the year 1973, the company’s labels are available in over 100 countries at around 12,000 retail stores and on e-commerce websites.
Brink will be tasked with responsibilities of supervising financial and accounts-related functions of the firm. He will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Henry Stupp.
Stupp appreciated Boling for his valuable contributions to Cherokee Global Brands. He is known for his leadership skills and support he lent to the company in its global growth and expansion during the tenure.
The company made key acquisitions of Tony Hawk Signature, Flip Flop Shops, Everyday California and the Hi-Tec portfolio of brands during Boling’s tenure.
