Celio India is planning to expand its footprint with 100 store launches in India, in the next 2-3 years, said Satyen Momaya, CEO of Celio Future Fashion. The company aims to have 65 stores across 25 cities.
Momaya revealed that the company has identified substantial retail opportunities, particularly in expanding direct retail stores. They have pinpointed about 40 malls and nine high streets for potential growth, with plans to open approximately 50 stores within their current cities.
The company also intends to open an additional 50 to 60 outlets in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities. Celio has expanded its network by almost 20 locations in the past 18 months. Momaya outlined the company’s regional strategy, highlighting that Celio’s top 11 cities make up 75 percent of its business, with the South being the leading market, followed by the North, West, and East.
He mentioned that North India, particularly Delhi NCR, parts of Punjab, and Uttar Pradesh, will be the main focus for retail expansion. Afterward, the company plans to target growth in the South, West, and East regions.
