US bridal and special occasion brand Azazie, known for offering direct-to-consumer, customisable gowns, has unveiled a shapewear collection.
The launch is seen as brand’s efforts to expand its product offerings.
While making the announcement, the bridal brand said that the collection is available in sizes from small to 3XL.
The new collection has been designed in such a way that it easily accommodates strapless necklines, deep V-necklines and open backs in addition to other common dress features.
Available in black, white and nude colour, the price for the newly launched collection, reportedly, ranges from US $ 12 to US $ 35.
Azazie, whose dresses are designed in Los Angeles and manufactured in China, Vietnam and Cambodia, launched the new collection to create products that not only fit its dress designs, but also improve how its dresses fit on customers’ bodies.
Notably, the collection has nylon as well as spandex fabrics to help smooth, shape and contour the bodies of customers.
While more and more direct-to-consumer brands are now getting into intimate wear, those into intimate wear are expanding into other categories. There was Knix earlier this year venturing into shapewear and ThirdLove expanding into loungewear. And now it is Azazie.
