
Natasja Laheij, a former CFO at Amazon Fashion and non-executive director, has been named the next chair of Asos.
Laheij succeeds Jørgen Lindemann, who has decided to step down at the end of his current term with effect from FY ’25 year end results.
William Barker, a board member, will join her in the newly created position of deputy chair, where he will support the retailer’s operational objectives, strategy, and culture. In addition, Barker serves as Tapi Carpets’ executive chairman.
Laheij became a member of the Asos board in 2023 and is currently the chair of the audit and compensation committees.
She has thirty years of experience in worldwide financial and commercial management, having held positions at Google EMEA, Apple, Deloitte Australia, Sony Ericsson, and Amazon Fashion Europe.
Asos Chief Executive José Antonio Ramos Calamonte expressed his gratitude to Jørgen for his invaluable support during his tenure on the board, acknowledging his significant contributions to the company. He also welcomed the opportunity to work closely with Natasja, highlighting her extensive governance experience, and with William, noting his deep knowledge of Asos and operational expertise, as the company moves forward with the execution of its strategic plans.
