ASICS is promoting running and exercise in their latest launch of the NOVABLAST running shoe. The brand is also launching a new ASCIS Run Mixer app which allows the runner to create tunes in harmony with the footsteps while running.
The ASICS NOVABLAST’s sole is being called the FLYTEFOAM and is made up of a lightweight material with the midsole of the shoe inspired by a trampoline that enhances rebound for the runner for better control which springs back the foot easily.
Junichiro Tateishi, General Manager, Footwear Function Research Department, ASICS Institute of Sport Science, said “The new FLYTEFOAM™ Blast midsole has been designed for more than just supporting a runner during their run; it has been designed for play and enjoyment.”
The shoe’s overall construction is made up of a new mesh-like fabric, which allows better airflow for the feet to remain cool. The fabric is claimed to be highly durable as it is joined to the sole without using any stitching or welding with an overlay.
The brand has also used their signature AHARPLUS rubber for the soles which boasts more than triple resistance to abrasion than a normal sole.
ASICS has also launched the ASICS Run Mixer app which the runner can download and enjoy melodious tunes on the rhythm of the runner’s footsteps. The app comes in collaboration with DJ Elkka from UK who is a well-known name in the techno music world.
The ASICS NOVABLAST shoe is available in men’s and women’s options in ASICS India’s official website.
