
Apparel Group, a well-known fashion and lifestyle retail behemoth, has successfully launched the first MLB store in the United Arab Emirates, formally debuting the upscale streetwear brand in the GCC. At the grand opening party, held at Dubai Hills Mall, fashion enthusiasts, influencers, and media representatives recognised MLB’s fusion of street style and athletic heritage.
MLB, which originated in South Korea and was inspired by Major League Baseball in the US, is renowned globally for its bold, fashionable designs and unique headwear. The company unveiled their Spring/Summer 2025 collection during the event, providing UAE customers with a well-curated assortment of daring apparel, caps and sneakers made for modern urban lives.
The Dubai store is MLB’s first retail site in the United Arab Emirates and the wider Gulf Cooperation Council, with a five-year expansion strategy targeted at important markets including Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, and Bahrain.
The firm is pleased to incorporate MLB into its portfolio of regional brands and introduce it to the dynamic fashion scene in the United Arab Emirates, according to Neeraj Teckchandani, CEO of Apparel Group. He pointed out that the brand’s blend of sports culture and streetwear appeals to the youthful, fashion-conscious customers in the area and opens the door for its further growth throughout the GCC.
