Ross Stores, the American off-price retailer, has said that its 2021 footprint growth plan is fulfilled as its new stores open this month.
In fact, in just September and October, the retailer launched 18 Ross Dress for Less and 10 DD’s Discount locations. With this, Ross would have opened its planned 65 locations in 2021.

Counting the new stores, Ross now, reportedly, runs 1,924 off-price clothing and home fashion stores in 40 US states, the District of Columbia and Guam.
Its drive to expand all through the year is a distinct reflection of the growing strength of the off-price sector – not to mention its continual dependence on physical stores.
Here it is also important to state that even in 2020 – amidst all challenges – Ross opened as many as 40 stores, while in 2019 the retailer had opened around 100 stores.
Ross has also made it clear that it is still committed to its long-term goal of running 3,000 stores.
Headquartered in Dublin, California, Ross offers high-quality in-season apparels and fashion accessories, amongst others.
