Gourishanker Jha has been named Chief Digital and Technology Officer (CDTO) of Agilitas Sports, the firm announced on Monday.
Jha will spearhead the organization’s digital and technological strategy in his new position, emphasising data-driven engagement, digital services, and integrated platforms. He will also be in charge of strategic alliances and digital projects.
Jha has more than 25 years of expertise in AI-driven transformation and digital product engineering. He served as Movate’s Chief Transformation Officer prior to joining Agilitas. Additionally, he had senior positions at Publicis Sapient, where he oversaw worldwide portfolios in digital commerce, marketing technology, and automotive, and he was Senior Vice President and worldwide Lead for Digital Experience at Hexaware Technologies. He started out at Infosys and DXC Technologies.
According to Abhishek Ganguly, co-founder and CEO of Agilitas Sports, Jha’s proficiency in fusing AI, commerce, and product engineering will be essential in constructing the business’s digital foundation, which will spur expansion and improve the way athletes and customers interact with sportswear. Ganguly went on to say that Jha was the ideal CEO to help the business realise its goal of developing an Indian sportswear platform that would be the first in the world.
As Agilitas gets ready for several brand launches in 2025, the appointment was made.
