The American sportswear brand adidas has joined hands with Peloton to give its customers their maiden joint apparel collection.
Notably, the exquisite collection – named ‘adidas X Peloton SS21’ – is designed by experts at Peloton.
While announcing the collaboration last week, it was also revealed that the aforementioned collection will be available both on adidas.com and apparel.onepeloton.com.
Besides, from 25 March (Thursday), it will also be sold on Peloton showrooms and will be available with select adidas retailers as well.
The launch is being seen as an effort on the part of both adidas and Peloton to further explore the growing popularity of activewear in this pandemic-influenced ‘new world’.
The 11-piece adidas X Peloton SS21 collection comprises some of the finest shorts, tights, tanks tees, hoodies, joggers and sports bras, amongst others. These will be available from US $ 30 to US $ 85.
In a statement released to media by both companies, it was also mentioned that come Thursday, there will be LIVE class celebrating the collection drop on Peloton Bike, Bike+ and the Peloton App.
The collaboration is also an effort by Peloton to enhance the sales of its apparels, which also includes its own private brands besides third-party ones.
For adidas also, it is a welcome collaboration as the retailer has not been at its best lately and has been in the news mainly for its intent to sell its underperforming brand Reebok.
