Indian actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu has launched Mile Collective, an activewear and lifestyle brand, along with co-founders Harshita Motaparthi and Pravishta Nadella. The label is positioned around everyday movement and wellness, with products designed specifically for Indian body types and climatic conditions.
According to the company, Mile Collective represents an evolution of Mile Active, which was founded in 2023 by Motaparthi with a focus on functional activewear tailored for Indian consumers. Nadella later joined as co-founder, followed by Prabhu, who the brand said was drawn to its emphasis on balance, ease and holistic well-being.
In a statement, Prabhu said the brand reflected her current approach to daily living, where movement extended beyond fitness to include balance, intention and comfort throughout the day. She added that the clothing had become a daily staple for her, citing its softness, fit and understated aesthetic, and described the collection as offering tangible comfort that enhances everyday experiences.
As part of its repositioning, Mile Active has now been rebranded as Mile Collective to signal a new phase of growth and a broader lifestyle focus. The debut collection, titled OnTheGo, has been designed to transition seamlessly from workouts to travel and home wear. The range features minimalist separates in muted tones such as charcoal and burgundy.
Motaparthi said the brand was never intended to promote intensity or performance-driven dressing, but rather to create garments that felt comfortable to live in. She said Mile Collective was a natural extension of that philosophy, offering clothing that supports daily routines without placing demands on the wearer.
Mile Collective plans to launch its dedicated e-commerce platform shortly, with availability across India.
